Forest of Imagination 2018 - Electro Twitcher
‘Electro Twitcher’ is a temporary installation of 5 bird inspired sculptures sited at Bath Quays as part of the ‘Forest of Imagination 2018’ festival in Bath. The sculptures were created in collaboration with children at Three Ways Special School and artist Julieann Worral-Hood.
dotLib’s Luke Woodbury designed and built the birds voices with electronics based around a ‘Raspberry Pi Zero’ and a sound engine created with ‘Pure Data’. The incoming audio is analysed for volume and frequency aspects which are used to control sounds from custom bird like synths.
